New York State Veteran Oral History Collection

The Oral History collection from the New York State Military Museum comprises over 2,100 interviews of veterans and civilians. The veteran interviews range from World War One up until the early 21st century. All branches of the military are represented: the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Merchant Marine, and Navy. Interviews were also conducted with service members from other countries including the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Hungry and Poland. Interviews were conducted by the Military Museum and community partners.
